Win N Juice (Win Win Win) had made her debut in the Royal Palm Stakes (100k). Today, in her second start, and dropping down to the Maiden Special Weight, the filly trained by Nolan Ramsey showed clear improvement, winning in an outstanding performance. The favorite was Augustinian (Galilean), a filly who cost $250,000 at the Ocala Sales and who tried to win the event from start to finish. However, the bay horse owned by Daugherty Racing LLC was more consistent, beating her at the finish line in 56 seconds for the 5 furlongs on the Gulfstream Park turf. Once again, Panamanian jockey Miguel Vasquez confirms his effectiveness with horses trained by Nolan Ramsey, a trainer who continues to win, now earning his 16th victory in this still young season.
